Ryan P. Lowery, a 2014 national champion baseball player, earned his BS and MS in exercise physiology and exercise and nutrition science from the University of Tampa.

Over the past five years he has published an astounding 80 papers, abstracts, and book chapters on human performance and sports nutrition and is rapidly becoming one of the premier sport scientists in the nation. Ryan has received the Exercise Science Scholar of the Year Award, NSCA Award for Outstanding Presentation of the year award, and most recently the National AAHPERD Exercise Science Major of the Year Award. Ryan is completing his doctorate at Auckland University where his entire dissertation centers around how to optimize a ketogenic diet through various nutrition and supplemental variables, including exogenous ketones. In fact, Ryan and his colleagues recently found that the same dosage of ketones found in KETO//OS significantly enhanced perceptual measures of focus, while simultaneously raising ketones to levels typically seen in nutritional ketosis. Ryan is currently examining the effects on ketone supplementation on substrate utilization and human performance and will continue to push the boundaries in this area.

Jay Flottmann, MD

Lieutenant Colonel (Dr)

Lt Col (Dr.) Jay T. Flottmann is the Air Combat Command (ACC) Pilot-Physician stationed at Langley AFB, VA.  ACC is the primary provider of air combat forces to America’s war fighting commanders.

Prior to this assignment, Dr. Flottmann was a student at The National Defense University, an institution of higher education funded by the United States Department of Defense, intended to facilitate high-level training, education, and the development of national security strategy.

Outside the government, Dr. Flottmann has endeavored to engage in the private sector with businesses focused on health, wellness, and patient safety.  More importantly, Dr. Flottmann has passionately pursued measures to improve human performance and optimization.  From a national perspective, population health is a matter of fiscal responsibility globally.  Chronic disease attributable to lifestyle choices has driven federal dollars to an unsustainable level.  It is a matter of national security.

I am fortunate to have started in the fitness and performance world as a young teenager and was lucky enough to have grown up with and trained with some of Australia’s best bodybuilders and athletes. Janelle has also been a successful competitor in Crossfit. In 2014 and 2015, she went to the CrossFit Regionals as a part of the Crossfit On Track team and went on to place 6th in 2015. She’s also earned a 1st place finish at the Heart of America Competition with the Crossfit On Track Team.

Dr. Jacob Wilson

Dr. Jacob Wilson, Ph.D., CSCS*D is a foremost expert and researcher on the cellular, molecular, and whole body changes in muscle size, strength, and power in response to nutrition and training interventions.

With over 150 published papers, book chapters and abstracts Dr. Wilson recently won the young investigator of the year award for the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Wilson’s laboratory in Tampa is the first to investigate the impact of ketosis and supplemental ketones on muscle size, strength, body fat and focus in resistance trained athletes. His lab has found that resistance training combined with ketogenic dieting results in fat loss and increases in muscle mass. More recently they found that the supplemental ketones used in KETO//OS robustly increased blood ketone levels for hours after administration.

Typically ketogenic supplements such as pure MCTs raise blood ketones to around 0.3 to 0.5 mmols when given at very high doses (30-40 grams). However we recently found that KETO//OS can raise blood ketones to three times this amount in as little as 30 minutes.
